It’s time to cut through the hype

Buzzshout

Don’t you just hate it when there’s too much hype to wade through when investigating modern Web 2.0 companies? It seems like a new company is introduced every few minutes. How can anyone keep up with what’s really useful? With BuzzShout, you can. Our aim is to garner quality reviews that have been shouted by users. These reviews cut through the cruff to give us something we all need: the truth about the buzz.

I really like this site’s idea. Web 2.0 companies are popping up left, right, and centre, more than often offering exactly the same as Harry nextdoor, making the decision of who to go with ever so hard!

If this site works it could save a lot of people a lot of time (and a lot of trouble) in making decisions on who’s services to use.

One thing that is quite interesting is that you cannot review the Web 2.0 company Buzzshout themselves!

Web 2.0 – When first hearing of it a couple of months ago I was “wow, a new internet architecture, wonder if it uses tcp/ip”

Then I find out its basically just using soft rounded images on your web page, and login scripts that remember who you are i.e. “hello bob” and keep a list of your contacts so that you can do social networking (aka Orkut), oh yes and providing RSS feeds.

    Nothing revolutionary about it.

  2. Yo Stinky, those are the sort of comments you must post on Buzzshout and see what sort of response you get.

Personally, I think Web 2.0 is a bit more than that. Go to http://www.techcrunch.com, a site that profiles and reviews new web 2.0 products and companies, and read all about the sort of web 2.0 services being released daily. Video editing sites, photo storage sites, word processing sites, theres a lot more to it than RSS feeds.

  3. Thanks a lot for providing individuals with an extraordinarily terrific possiblity to read articles and blog posts from here. It is always very terrific and also full of fun for me and my office fellow workers to visit the blog on the least three times per week to find out the new guides you have got. And definitely, I’m certainly satisfied considering the astounding things you give. Some 3 areas on this page are in truth the simplest we have ever had
