Goo Goo Dolls @ Shepherd’s Bush Empire Theatre

Last night I graced Goo Goo Dolls with my presence. They seemed pretty stoked I was there, John Rzeznik kept yelling, “We love you guys“.

What an awesome concert! The beauty of the Empire Theatre is it’s size. It is pretty small, so it feels quite personal. Not like the Robbie Williams concert I went to a month ago, where I was surrounded by 65 000 adoring fans, and Robbie waved goodbye from his private helicopter.

There was a good mixture of the old classic tracks like “Slide” and “Iris”, but also plenty of their new hits, like “Let Love In” and my favourite “Better Days”.

My cellphone video clips sound like Goo Goo Dolls were performing with 20 blown speakers, so rather sit back and enjoy this video.
