My latest project is finally live – https://oceandeeds.com. Phew that feels good to say.
What is this, you may not ask… I’ve been fortunate to realise the ocean is my happy place. Through it, I’ve met some special people who give back in small, consistent, often unseen ways. Ocean Deeds exists to document those stories and the people behind them.
So many friends speak of an indescribable connection to the ocean. Whether it be physically, mentally, creatively or something more mythical. I’ve been keen to explore that more.
As a tech dinosaur I’ve also been intrigued (read: felt threatened) by AI-assisted web building. It’s been 10+ years since our Woo exit and a lot has changed since then. I used this idea as a self-imposed skunkworks experiment to venture further into the internet abyss. Dare I say vibe code… A way to force myself to design and publish again and get back in the water…
I hope to share some of my learnings, but for now please go and read about Cristina Zenato. An incredibly inspiring human who is helping a shiver of sharks in the Grand Bahamas – removing over 400 hooks from their mouths!
