Frothcast

It’s a wild time to collaborate with robotic overlords and turn weird ideas into powerful web creations. With the peace of mind knowing that a quirky experiment can run and not demand huge amounts of energy from you.

Over the past couple weeks I’ve been building a surf reporting and forecasting app – specifically for Cape Town. Because why not… It’s called Frothcast -> www.frothcast.com.

The problem with the big weather/wind/swell apps is that they focus on global coverage and therefore often get the nuance wrong of local surf spots dotted around our weirdly shaped peninsula.

Frothcast combines a few publicly available weather feeds with some local know how to showcase increasingly sharp and accurate forecasts. At least that’s the plan!
